Two of the extensions are free and have no paid tier at all. Two have one. Every free tier is permanent — nothing here is a trial that runs out, and no free tier gets worse when a paid one gets better.
There are no time-limited trials. Every free tier below is permanent, and each is meant to be enough to judge the tool by. Buying one extension does not affect the others: there is no bundle and no suite licence.

Two products with a paid tier, and two without. That is worth saying plainly because the machine-readable copy of this page said “three separate purchases” for months, at a time when only two products had ever had a paid tier at all.

App and theme detection is the one row that is deliberately identical at both tiers. It is the thing most people install it for, and holding back a fingerprint someone has already loaded the page for would be withholding a fact rather than selling a feature.

Where the free tier withholds something, it is drawn as a 45° hatch rather than a blur. A blur promises a value is under the glass — which would be a lie on every figure the platform never published in the first place.
MurmProof — free, permanently
Counts the commercial links on a page, reports how far a reader scrolls before meeting the first one, and measures where the disclosure sits relative to it. €0, with no paid tier. It is the newest of the four: built, submitted to the Chrome Web Store, and waiting on review. All four are installable today and this one is not, so its page has no install button on it — it gets one the day the listing is approved. Nothing about its price will change then.
What no amount of money unlocks
The refusals in these tools are not the top of a pricing ladder. Each is a figure that no source publishes, so there is nothing behind the paywall to move:
- Shopify revenue and units sold. Shopify publishes rank order, not sales. MurmSpy prints a refusal at that tile size on every storefront, at both tiers.
- Meta impressions, clicks, conversions and CTR. Meta discloses none of them for anyone's ads. Pro reveals the disclosures Meta did publish, and an interval stays an interval — paying does not convert a range into an exact figure.
- What a page earns from its affiliate links. Commission rates live in a private dashboard. MurmProof prints an em-dash and the reason.
The one modelled money figure anywhere in the family is on TikTok Shop — the platform's own sold counter times the current price — and it is printed with its formula underneath, labelled a ballpark, and marked as a floor when TikTok truncates the counter.
The billing details
- Currency: EUR, for every tier.
- Payment: Stripe, via ExtensionPay. Monthly or annual, cancel any time, no contract.
- Refunds: handled through Stripe — write to us with the address you paid with.
- Accounts: none for any free tier. No email address, no card.
- Platform: Google Chrome and Chromium browsers — Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera. Manifest V3.
- Data collected by any tier of any tool: none. There is no MurmTools server; every analysis runs in your browser.
- Affiliate links, browsing analytics, session recording: none, in any tool, at any tier.
- Not requested by any of them: “read your data on all
websites”,

Questions
Is there a free trial?
No, and that is deliberate. Nothing here expires. The free tiers are permanent and are meant to be enough to judge the tool by — MurmSpy free reads 25 products, the top ten best sellers and the full app and theme detection on any store; MurmAds free reads every ad on the page in front of you.
Is there a bundle?
No. Only two of the four extensions have a paid tier, and they are separate purchases. MurmStack and MurmProof are free, so there is nothing to bundle them into.
Does paying unlock a revenue estimate?
No. Those figures are not withheld — they were never computed, because the platform publishes nothing to compute them from. Pro buys depth on figures that exist.
Do I need an account?
Not for any free tier: no account, no email, no card. A Pro licence is checked against ExtensionPay and cached locally.
What happens to my saved stores or boards if I cancel?
They stay on your machine — they live in local browser storage and never went anywhere else. The tier limits reapply to what the panel will show you, but nothing is deleted by us, because there is no “us” holding it.
